This isn't your typical programming class—it's a practical guide to communicating with 3ds Max through MaxScript. Maxscripting is not just about automating tasks or simplifying processes; it also unlocks a wide range of possibilities that would be unimaginable to do by hand.
As a former generalist who taught myself scripting without the help of ChatGPT, I completely understand the challenges artists face when learning to script. This course is exactly what I wish I had when I was on that journey.
The beginning is half of the whole. Starting is often the toughest part. This course will help you take that first step.
Bite-Sized Written Tutorial
I first tried a video format, but it didn’t quite work because the screen was mostly static. So, I switched to a written tutorial with animated GIFs for actions—Each lesson is designed to be bite-sized for easy focus and understanding, while all are interconnected to guide you through step-by-step. You’ll need to complete each lesson to unlock the next, with new sections becoming available over time.
Q&A Forum
In addition to the course material, you'll also gain access to a private forum where you can ask any questions along your learning journey, and I'll be there to support you every step of the way.
Certification
Upon completion, you'll receive a certification.
